Recent Trends

For the last five years I have this app which send information on disaster events.  After a year I began to notice an increasing trend in regards to weather events of a disastrous nature.  Extreme weather events  are occurrences that are severe in nature or occur out of season.  An example of this is prolonged drought or snow or frost during the growing season.  Since I  began my work with the City of Lethbridge, I was able to explore this subject  more in depth and what I found was astonishing!  Extreme weather has begun to affect food production.
